Project Introduction

Developing and enhancing a web app capable of generating a schedule for tutors working at UNC’s writing center. 

Our project is to further enhance the writing center’s existing scheduler. The purpose of the scheduler is to automatically assign hours to tutors at the start of the semester. The current scheduler could be improved to be more flexible and cover some additional constraints. This involves adding the ability to schedule weekly staff meetings and improving the user interface for both tutors and administrators. We will be creating a website with an intuitive user interface to handle the front end requests.
